Thanks again for your assistance this past week. I can’t adequately describe the frustration I’ve experienced this past month trying to find someone willing to take a look at an old Brunswick pool hall table that was left behind by the previous owners of our newly acquired house. The table was in good working order, but was pretty beat up and needed a new felt. For reasons unbeknownst to me, nobody returned my calls / e-mails or seemed interested in this project… until I contacted you through your website.
You contacted me immediately and through the use of digital photos, you recommended the replacement of the felt and reserved your judgment of the other repairs until the extent of the damage and the value of the table could be determined. You had several 9-foot felts in my desired color already in stock and were able to schedule an appointment within the week. Your service employees were very knowledgeable about vintage tables and did not have any difficulties replacing the felt on the bed and the cushions; plus, there was no attempt on their part to up-sell or pressure me to fix other aspects of the table. They were very professional and courteous.

Q. How do I take care of the cloth on my table?
Vacuum or brush your cloth as needed. Brush dust from the head toward the foot end of the table. Always brush with straight strokes, not in a scrubbing or circular motion. Brush under the cushion overhang. Brush as often as necessary to maintain the table in good playing condition. Use a hand vacuum or the soft brush upholstery attachment of your vacuum cleaner to pick up the dust and dirt from table brushing.
Under normal play and care, cloth can last years.
